Delegates
and Events - Now, plus a look at C# 2.0
with Joe Mayo, Author /
Instructor |
|
Learn how to implement delegates and events in your .NET
applications. You'll learn how to use system defined delegates and
how to declare your own delegates. You'll learn about the benefits
of using events in your code and how they relate to delegates.
Another powerful feature of delegates is asynchronous programming.
You'll see different ways to implement asynchronous algorithms and
how to expose asynchronous methods in your own types.
Additionally, you'll see how anonymous methods, a new
C# 2.0 feature, simplify delegate implementation. |

NEW
EVENTS SITE
|
| |
|
|
From
Sco Scofield: As most of you know, almost two years ago, Microsoft
stopped posting user group meetings on their regional websites. (This is
when we stopped registering for our meetings.) Until about a month ago, at
least there was a page that had links to all of the user group websites.
Now, with their "new and improved" regional websites, there is not even a
page mentioning user groups, let alone links to any of the user group
websites.
Two of our members, Mel Harris and Sco Scofield,
created MS Colorado Events to fill the huge hole left by Microsoft when they
stopped putting the user group meetings on their event calendar. MS Colorado
Events is currently contacting all of the user groups and seminar presenters
in Colorado to post their meetings. MS Colorado Events plans to be your one
place to look for user group meetings and seminars in Colorado.
If you know of a user group that is not posting their
meetings, please let them know about MS Colorado Events and have them
contact the MS Colorado Events Administrator:
